Functional artwork.

Cheryl Dolby, a local fine artist best known for her Native American sculptures, doesn't just make fine art. She creates functional art as well. Following are some of her usable products you can find downtown at the Roanoke Farmer's Market.

Cheryl's Gypsy Woman Journals are quickly becoming a best seller. They're perfect for journaling, drawing, or scrapbooking. Each one is unique and carefully handcrafted as a work of art to show off anything your "art" desires. $68.

Another popular seller for Cheryl are her Glitz Goddess Cream. Smaller sized version of her Goddess Creams, these decorative jars are filled with a lavender scented cream that contains ingredients such as Holy Water from Lourds France, shea butter, lavender essential oil, emu oil, and silk proteins. Refills are available once you've used the healing contents inside, or reuse your jar for anything you can imagine. Every jar is unique and is crafted from a collage of trinkets Cheryl has found on her travels. $24.

This Goddess Ceremonial Necklace is one of many faces created by Cheryl. Each necklace is completely different and is guaranteed to turn you into an instant goddess. These wearable pieces of art retail for as much as $225 in galleries, however, you can grab them on the Roanoke City Market directly from Cheryl at her wholesale price of just $85 each.
You can find Cheryl on the Market most Fridays and Saturdays weather permitting.

Rebecca,
What a fabulous job you did with my pictures and information. You are not only a soap maker extraordinaire but a writer/photographer extraordinaire!
Thankyou.
