Artist Trading Cards

I collect Artist Trading Cards, also known as ATC's and ACEO's. I keep them in little hand bound books made by various artists on Etsy. My newest book is a pocket notebook from Snow Pea Press. One of my notebooks is dedicated to original art cards, while the other is for prints. While my collections have been neglected for some time, I recently began purchasing new cards to broaden my collection. I also tried my hand at making a few ACEO's of my own.
Pictured above is my original art card, Shiny Red Boots, created from pencil and ink. It is inspired by a pair of fun, new shoes I recently purchased for spring from Piperlime. While my new shoes are a pair of comfy, fun wedges from Pink Studio and not shiny, red boots, I felt the concept of just having that perfect pair of shoes was the same. And that's what I tried to communicate in my miniature drawing. So check out this gal's new shiny red boots with the shiny silver buckle. They make her so happy she's seeing stars!
I also created a second ACEO featuring the Husband. You can take a peek at the Husband in his happy blue eyeglasses. Everyone hates him because he has curls to die for. If you're interested in purchasing my ACEO's, simply visit my online shop. These and all future art cards will be listed under the Paper Arts section of my shop. Or, better yet, get busy and start making your own! These fun cards can be made from cutting card stock to 3.5" x 2.5" - the same size as a baseball card - and make a great family project!

I love your ATC with the red boots - adorable! I just recently discovered ATCs. I'm very excited to get started making some of my own. I am hoping to find trading groups rather than buying them, though. (o:
