Creating a craft show booth display.

My booth display from the Roanoke Farmer's Market was recently featured in an article on Etsy entitled Penny-wise Product Pushing: Do a Craft Show without Breaking the Bank. Be sure to read the article for ideas and tips for your next craft show.

My own personal tips for creating a great display?

1.) Use at least two contrasting fabrics to cover your table.

2.) Use tiers. Since these can be covered, just about anything around the house can be utilized for this purpose without having to make a purchase. Varying heights do a lot to draw the eye.

3.) If you're using containers of any kind to display your products, go with something that won't break easily and is light weight. I use melamine plates and bowls that I found for a reasonable price at Target. I started with my own stoneware and lost half my collection due to breakage. Melamine can be dropped and generally abused without breaking.

4.) Throw in some froo froo. A strand of flowers doesn't cost much and does a lot to brighten up your display. Change just your froo froo for the season without having to change your entire display.
