Need some new magnets for your fridge? Have a ridiculous amount of washi tape because you, like me, have fallen victim to the washi tape addiction? Here’s a 60 second DIY washi tape craft project that lets you show off your favorite washi tapes and your favorite photos or your kid’s artwork at the same time – DIY Washi Tape Magnets!
All you need is a roll of magnetic tape,
some washi tape
of your choice, and scissors. Simply cut the magnet into desired lengths and lay flat with the magnet side down. Peel off the film on the back of the magnets to reveal the sticky side, then apply strips of washi tape to the sticky side of the magnet. Trim off any excess tape and voila! You now have washi tape magnet strips. Stick them on your fridge to hold notes, artwork, coupons, and photos!

I’ve seen so many Washi Tape projects, yet I have never bought any tape myself. What am I waiting for? lol. These are so cute!
Great idea! I just bought some more washi tape (the kids love the stuff), and this is something new that I know they’d love to try. =0)

What a cute and practical idea! Like Paula, I haven’t hopped on the washi tape bandwagon yet, and I think the time has come! xoxo
