Simple DIY Breathe Easier Salve Recipe for Sinus Congestion with Printable Labels

Have sinus congestion from the common cold or nasal allergies? Then try out this simple diy recipe for creating your own homemade salve to help you breathe easier. It’s made with a combination of 100% pure Peppermint, Rosemary, Lemon and Eucalyptus essential oils that come pre-mixed for you ready to use! Simply apply the finished salve under your nose to help clear nasal passages.

Homemade Breathe Easy Salve Recipe

Using a digital kitchen scale weigh out the beeswax pastilles in a glass measuring cup. Melt beeswax in the microwave. Once thoroughly melted, carefully remove from the microwave using a pot holder and place back on the scale. Measure out the sweet almond oil and mix well. Finally stir in the the essential oil blend.

Now slowly pour the salve into containers of your choice. This recipe will yield approximately ten 1/3 oz. lip balm pots. (As with any product, do not use if you are sensitive or allergic to any of the ingredients and discontinue use immediately if irritation occurs.)

Since listing ingredients on smaller containers is difficult, I opted to package my salve inside 3″ x 4″ Clear Zipper Poly Bags which are much easier to label. I then hand drew my own labels to add a special handmade touch, printed them onto sticker paper and then affixed them to the bags and tucked the salve inside each one.
