DIY Natural Homemade Deodorizing Shoe Powder Recipe - Keep Your Shoes Smelling Fresh Even If They Don't Look It - Also Free Printable Labels

Are there stinky sneaks in your family? Freshen them up with this simple, all natural recipe for a DIY deodorizing shoe powder. This easy deodorizing shoe powder recipe will help keep your shoes smelling fab even if they don’t always look the part.

Natural Deodorizing Shoe Powder Recipe with Free Printable Labels

Made from easily obtainable all natural ingredients, this deodorizing shoe powder recipe is kind to both your shoes and your feet. Simply sprinkle some in your shoes overnight or before wearing with – or without – socks!

This recipe yields one 7 oz. container, but you can easily double it if you want to make more – say, one for each of your little sports players!  I used the white powder sifter bottles from Nature’s Garden for this project. Not only are they relatively inexpensive – $3.99 scores you a set of ten containers – but they can easily be upcycled once they’re empty! Since they are plastic, you can simply wash, dry and re-use! (Psst. These are also perfect for those dry shampoo recipes!)

Chalkboard labels turn ordinary into extraordinary.

I recently stumbled across a tutorial for these gorgeous glass canisters. While they are perfect in the kitchen, I can also imagine them in the bathroom filled with soap balls, cotton swabs, and other bathroom necessities. They’d also be gorgeous as a gift for the holidays, labeled and filled with your friend’s favorite treats. And of course, once the original contents are gone, the recipient can erase the label and add her own, giving the jar a new purpose.
I love that the chalkboard paint makes these jars easy to know what’s inside, while the DecoArt Thick Texture Paint creates a border that adds visual interest most chalkboard labels don’t offer. This craft project can be found on Mustard Seed Creations Blog. Find the full project here.
