DIY Vanilla & Brown Sugar Body Scrub Recipe

Homemade DIY Vanilla and Brown Sugar Body Scrub Recipe and Other Fun Treats!

I’m always on the prowl for great homemade bath, body and beauty recipes to add to not only add to my DIY Bath & Body board on Pinterest but to also find inspiration for new handmade bath and beauty recipes to create either for myself or Soap Deli News.

Recently one such quest led to the discovery of a tasty homemade recipe at Chantilly Songs blog for creating a DIY Vanilla Brown Sugar Body Scrub. This natural exfoliating body scrub (pictured above/photo via Chantilly Songs) is made using raw organic sugar, brown sugar, coconut oil, honey, vanilla extract and a dash of tea tree oil. Even better than this recipe however – and I do LOVE a great sugar scrub – is that I also discovered a great new singer/song writer in the process.

Not only does Chantilly share some amazing bath and body recipes – there are others like her homemade body butter recipe, coconut oil/cocoa butter moisturizer DIY, and her DIY Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray for your locks – but she also links back to her new “Up to the Moon” EP that you can find at Bandcamp.com.

I instantly fell in love with her song, Escape, and bought the entire digital version of her EP the same day. So if you’re looking for new ways to pamper yourself, try throwing some new music into the mix as well. You can listen to the EP online for free here or purchase either individual songs or the entire album!
