DIY Homemade Thyme Acne Treatment Cream Recipe (via Blah Blah magazine)

I love summer because it means I get to spend even more time outdoors. Unfortunately the heat can often wreak havoc on my face especially when it’s humid out. One of my favorite blogs, Blah Blah Magazine, has a solution for that in the form of an acne spot treatment cream. Made using thyme essential oil, known for it’s acne fighting properties, this simple anti-acne cream recipe contains just three simple ingredients – thyme, baking soda and a carrier oil – that yields big results. Visit Blah Blah Magazine here to get the homemade acne cream recipe.

Well, baking soda has been used for skin treatments forever, so I bet pairing it with the thyme would be awesome. I’ve never heard of carrier oil though.Do you think another type of oil would work in its place?

A carrier oil is like sweet almond oil, hemp seed oil, olive oil, jojoba oil, etc.
