Deliciously scented and convincingly colored luxury soaps with a chocolatey twist!

Ingredients:

2 lb Melt & Pour Soap Base
1/2 cup Goat’s Milk Powder
1 tsp powdered Kola Nut (or other brown herb)
1 tsp Macadamia Nut Oil
1/2 tsp Cocoa Butter
1/2 tsp Mango Butter
1/2 tsp Silk Amino Acids
Chocolate Fragrance Oil

Instructions:

Melt the butters and glycerine soap gently over a double boiler. When liquid, blend in macadamia oil and silk. Let it cool slightly. Pour about 1 cup of soap into a separate dish and blend very well with Goat’s Milk powder, making sure to eliminate all lumps. Combine with rest of melted soap, mix in fragrance oil and Kola Nut Powder to achieve desired chocolately color and scent. Pour into molds.

Chocolate Orange Body Butter

Ingredients:

1 2/3 oz Coconut Oil
2 oz Almond Oil
1 oz Cocoa Butter
1 oz Shea Butter
0.3 oz Beeswax
1 tbsp Cornstarch (optional)
Several drops Sweet orange EO

Instructions:

Heat and melt beeswax and butter then mix with oils and EO. (If you’d like to add cornstarch, mix it into oil now). Pour in a container and let it solidify.

Chocolate Exfoliating Body Wash

Ingredients:
3/4 Cup Liquid Castile Soap
1/4 Cup Refined Shea Butter
1/8 Cup Finely Ground pumice
1/4 Cup Apricot Kernel Meal
1 Tablespoon Cocoa Powder
2 Tablespoons Dark Brown Sugar
1 Tablespoon Avocado Oil
1/2 Tablespoon Vitamin E Oil
1 1/2 teaspoon Chocolate Fragrance Oil

Instructions:
Melt the shea butter over low on the stove or in the microwave for about 2 – 2 1/2 minutes at 60% power until completely melted. Combine with the liquid castille soap and mix well. Stir in other remaining ingredients, being sure to break up brown sugar completely so they’re are no clumps. Fill an 8oz. plastic jar. and screw on lid. (I used a measuring cup with a pour spout for this.) Allow it to set up completely – it will thicken – for about two days. You’ll use the remaining body wash to create the Chocolate Mint Foot Scrub Below.

Chocolate Mint Foot Scrub

Ingredients:
Remaining body wash from Chocolate Body Wash Recipe
1/8 Cup Fine Ground Pumice
1/2 teaspoon lavender essential oil
1/4 teaspoon peppermint essential oil
1/4 Cup dark brown sugar
1/4 Cup liquid vegetable glyerin
1/8 Cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon chocolate fragrance oil

Instructions:
Combine all ingredients and mix well. Pour into a 4oz. plastic or glass jar. Use the scrub to exfoliate the rough skin on the heels and bottoms of feet.

Yum, yum, yum! Here are two bath and body recipes that make a fabulous gift when paired. Try your hand at crafting a handmade glycerin orange & chocolate soap and an exfoliating orange & chocolate sugar scrub with real coffee grounds. Chocolate & Orange Soap Recipe

Ingredients:

8 oz. melt and pour glycerin soap
1 tablespoon dark organic cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
5 teaspoons almond extract
40 drops orange essential oils

Instructions:

Cut glycerin soap into cubes. Melt in the microwave on high in 20-30 second increments, stirring gently in between heatings, until fully melted. Allow to cool slightly. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into molds and allow to cool.

Chocolate & Orange Brown Sugar Coffee Scrub Recipe

Ingredients:

1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon freshly ground coffee beans
1 tablespoon finely chopped hazelnuts
2 teaspoons almond oil
2 teaspoons jojoba oil
2 teaspoons olive oil
8 drops of orange essential oil
8 drops of chocolate fragrance oil
dash of cinnamon

Instructions:

Combine all ingredients together in a bowl and mix well. Keep sealed in an airtight container in the refrigerator when not in use. To use, take a scoop of the scrub and gently massage in circular motions over your body. Avoid face and neck. Rinse well.
