I’ll admit I’m not the best blogger in the world. Nor necessarily the best crafter even. I have a problem with craftsmanship. Basically mine sucks and everything I complete still seems just a tad unfinished. Which is why I make soap. No one knows the difference. What I do have a phenomenal knack for though is spotting the awesomeness in other crafters and artists. And to prove it, I present these flippin’ awesome paper mache teacups.
This beauty of a tea cup was crafted by the talented diy girl, Ann Wood, who provides a photo tutorial for this project on her blog, aptly named, Ann Wood. So grab yourself an empty cereal box – or toss the cereal from one that’s still half full because you KNOW you want to jump on this project – find a little wallpaper paste, newspaper, tape, and glue and get started. If you finish by tonight you may just be able to paint your creation tomorrow and fill it with glittery goodness! Once you’re done with that project, be sure to check out Ann’s other crafty how to’s. She seems to have a knack for recycling cardboard in the most intriguing ways.
