DIY Beauty Recipe - Agave and Dead Sea Mud Detoxifying Face Mask Recipe

This all natural homemade detoxifying face mask recipe is created from a combination of cleansing oils, aloe vera gel, clays and agave syrup. It helps to draw out toxins and impurities from skin as well as improve skin texture and tone. You’ll love how cool it feels when you apply it – just like real mud!

Ingredients:

2 oz. Dead Sea Clay Powder
1 oz. Bentonite Clay
.1 oz. Dead Sea salt
.05 oz. light agave syrup
.2 oz. hazelnut oil
.3 oz. castor oil
2 oz. aloe vera gel

Directions:

Using a digital scale weigh out all the ingredients, combining the dry ingredients first in a bowl and mixing with a fork followed by the wet ingredients. Mix well.

To use simply apply the mask to your face and allow to set for 15 minutes. Rinse off with warm water and pat dry. Use once a week for normal, oily or acne prone skin. For normal to dry skin try substituting the bentonite clay with Rhassoul clay and using .4 oz. sunflower oil and .1 oz. castor oil in lieu of the oils and amounts in the above recipe. Or experiment with other oils like meadowfoam seed oil to find your perfect detoxifying face mask recipe.

Keep the mask stored in a sealed container in the refrigerator between uses. Small pantry (traditional canning) jars or glass salve jars make a perfect choice!

I wouldn’t mind kicking back with a slather of this on my face right about now. Thanks for the recipe.
