Following are three easy, natural skin care recipes for making your own DIY facial cleansing grains recipes. However, feel free to customize these facial cleansing grains recipes so they cater perfectly to your own skin type by choosing or substituting ingredients that work best for you. Herbal Facial Cleansing Grains Recipe

Ingredients:
1 teaspoon lavender flower powder
2 teaspoons French green clay
1 teaspoon chamomile flower powder
1 teaspoon marshmallow root powder
1 teaspoon calendula flower powder
1 Tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon arrowroot powder, cornmeal or fine ground oats
2 teaspoons poppy seeds
Instructions:
Measure out all of the ingredients for your facial cleansing grains and combine in a glass bowl. Mix until all ingredients are evenly incorporated. Using a small funnel, fill two 8-dram glass vials – I got mine from SKS Bottle & Packaging here – and cap.
To use combine 1-2 teaspoons with a small amount of water, coconut milk, milk, rosewater honey or aloe until it forms a paste. Massage onto skin then rinse with water and pat dry. Follow with your favorite natural facial serum or facial oil.
Suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin.
Fruit & Veggie Facial Cleansing Grains Recipe

Ingredients:
1 teaspoon carrot powder or cranberry powder
1 teaspoon orange peel powder
1 teaspoon basil powder
2 teaspoons Rhassoul clay
2 teaspoons sugar
1 Tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons arrowroot powder, cornmeal or fine ground oats
Instructions:
Measure out all of the ingredients for your facial cleansing grains and combine in a glass bowl. Mix until all ingredients are evenly incorporated. Using a small funnel, fill two 8-dram glass vials and cap.
To use combine 1-2 teaspoons with a small amount of water, coconut milk, milk, rosewater honey or aloe until it forms a paste. Massage onto skin then rinse with water and pat dry. Follow with your favorite natural facial serum or facial oil.
Suitable for normal, combination and oily skin.
Detox Facial Cleansing Grains Recipe

2 teaspoons bentonite clay
1 teaspoon spirulina powder
1 teaspoon sea clay
2 teaspoons activated charcoal
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon Dead Sea salt, fine ground
1 Tablespoon arrowroot powder, cornmeal or fine ground oats
Instructions:
Measure out all of the ingredients for your facial cleansing grains and combine in a glass bowl. Mix until all ingredients are evenly incorporated. Using a small funnel, fill two 8-dram glass vials and cap.

Suitable for combination, oily and acne prone skin.
