Treat mom this Mother’s Day with this simple yet incredibly soothing all natural lavender and rose bath salt recipe. It makes a lovely homemade Mother’s Day gift especially when packaged in a reusable container like a glass jar with bail lid.

Natural Lavender & Rose Bath Salt Recipe

Ingredients:

1/3 cup Epsom salt
1/4 cup fine sea salt
1/4 cup colloidal oatmeal
1/4 cup powdered coconut milk
1 Tablespoon lavender flowers
1 Tablespoon crushed rose petals
3 ml lavender essential oil

Instructions:

Measure out the Epsom salt and sea salt into a medium to large glass bowl or measuring cup. Mix with a fork to combine, then using a graduated transfer pipettes measure out the lavender essential oil and stir into the salts until well mixed.

Now measure out the colloidal oatmeal and coconut milk powder and stir into the salts.

Finally, using a Tablespoon measuring spoon, measure out the lavender flowers and crushed rose petals and mix into the product.

Now package as desired – the finished recipe yields approximately 6.25 oz. by weight – in an airtight container and gift. To use, simply add desired amount to warm bath water.
