Easy DIY Red Velvet Cake Goat Milk Lotion
When I sold down on my local farmer’s market way back – and even after when I consigned to a local shop on Market St. – my Red Velvet Cake Goat Milk Lotion was one of my biggest best sellers. And while I no longer make this lotion on a regular basis, it is actually super easy to make your own. Not only does this goat milk lotion smell absolutely amazing, but it makes a fabulous homemade stocking stuffer gift!
Red Velvet Cake Goat Milk Lotion Recipe
Ingredients:
16 oz. Crafters Choice™ Goat Milk & Honey Lotion
1/2 oz. Red Velvet Cake Fragrance Oil
Instructions:
Weight out each of your ingredients using a digital kitchen scale, then gently heat the lotion base just until melted then stir in the fragrance oil. Using a funnel, slowly fill your empty lotion bottles, allow to cool and cap. Label your final product as desired for gifting. (This recipe will yield four 4 oz. lotion bottles or two 8 oz. lotion bottles. For favors, fill eight 2 oz. bottles.)
Tip: If you’re using bottles with a round top (on the opposite end of the lid) fill a large bowl or small box with Epsom salts and push the bottles into the salts to hold them steady while you fill them and until the lotion re-solidifies.
