DIY Homemade Stocking Stuffer Gifts

Looking for a few more great homemade stocking stuffer ideas for the holiday season? One of my favorite small handmade gift ideas this year is wax melts. With the increasingly popularity of Scentsy as well as Glade’s new Wax Melt Electric Warmer that was recently brought into the spotlight, more and more people have wax melt warmers in their home. We use one at work and many of my co-workers have the warmers as well making it an ideal stocking stuff gift.

Recently I posted a DIY on making scented wax melts in clam shells along with some printable holiday labels to give them a personal touch. However, you don’t have to stick to using a clam shell as a mold. You can also use just about any silicone mold to make cute little shapes. I have a silicone flower mold that I’ve used over and over for various projects including my recipes for natural lemon verbena bath melts & solid sugar scrub cubes as well as my natural face luminizer and handmade 2-in-1 Blush & Lip Stain. Not only is this silicone mold great for bath and beauty recipes, it also does a perfect job at molding wax melts.

Simply follow my recipe here on how to make wax melts, then pour into the cavities of the mold and allow to harden completely before removing. You can then package your wax melts in something as simple as a cute small glass jars with locking, hinged canister lids (as pictured above) with a piece of baker’s twine tied into a bow.
