This natural after sun skin soother cream recipe is one of the first natural lavender scented cream products that I created when I started selling on my local farmer’s market many years ago. As it’s been so long since it’s conception – we’re talking a decade now – I thought it was time to bring it back around and share it again.

1 Cup Raw/Natural Shea Butter
1/2 teaspoon Lavender Essential Oil

2 teaspoons of Mountain Rose Herbs Restorative Skin Oil

Instructions:

Melt the shea butter in a double boiler on the stove, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat then measure out and stir in the remaining ingredients. This is amazing, I can’t imagine that it has butter and be a component of that cream. Thank you for sharing your wonderful skin recipe.

Love the recipe! Any idea what I can replace the tea tree with? I think I’m allergic to tea tree.

You can use any other healing eo that pairs well with lavender or simply omit it.
