Fairy Glitter Gloss Recipe in Rose Lemonade

Rose Lemonade Fairy Glitter Gloss Recipe
Ingredients:
.1 oz. / 3 grams cera bellina wax
.1 oz. / 3 grams oat butter
.1 oz. / 3 grams Bulgarian rose floral wax
.25 oz. / 7 grams shea nut oil
.05 oz. / 1 gram castor oil
1 mL pink lemonade flavor oil
1 teaspoon plus 1/2 teaspoon party pink mica
1/2 teaspoon princess pink glitter
1/2 teaspoon iridescent super sparkle glitter
Instructions:
My fairy glitter gloss recipe yields five .15 oz. glitter lip glosses.
Using a digital scale, weigh out the cera bellina wax, oat butter and rose wax into a small glass beaker. Heat in the microwave at 40% power until all the ingredients have melted. (If you don’t have or want to use oat butter, you may substitute this ingredient with another hydrogenated butter.)
Next, weigh out and stir in the shea nut oil and castor oil. If product solidifies, gently reheat the ingredients until once again melted.
Using a graduated plastic transfer pipette, measure out the pink lemonade flavor oil and stir into the melted waxes, butter and oils.
Now use measuring spoons to measure out the mica and glitters. Mix into the melted ingredients until evenly incorporated and all clumps are gone.
Carefully pour the liquid fairy glitter gloss into five .15 oz. oval black lip balm tubes. I used these black lip balm tubes with black caps from SKS Bottle & Packaging here.
Allow your fairy glitter glosses to cool overnight, then cap and label as desired for personal use or gifting. (Note that it generally takes a day or so for the fairy glitter gloss to reach its final consistency. I recommend waiting to test the product the next day as there is a noticeable difference from the day it’s poured to the day after.)
